The Rest of the Story

I grew up in the Philadelphia area, and although it hasn’t been home since I left for college at 18, I remain a passionate supporter of Philly sports, and will always stop when I drive by a Wawa. I spent four incredible years at Penn State University, and four great years after that in the Washington, DC, area before moving to New York City for what was supposed to be a two-year stop for business school. Fourteen years later, I’m proud to call New York my home. I currently reside in the Yorkville neighborhood of Manhattan with my wife Emily and young son Sebastian.

Stuff You Wouldn't Know

First Job: When I was 16, I spent a summer in working in the kitchen of a local Boston Chicken (now Boston Market). My culinary career ended that summer.

Greatest Life Experience: Becoming a parent has easily been the greatest experience of my life, and has humbled me with respect to my mother’s capacity to raise me and my three siblings.

Random Fact: I’m a direct descendant of Italian architect and painter Baldassare Peruzzi. He was a contemporary of Raphael and Bramante during the High Renaissance, and is buried in the Rotunda of the Pantheon.
