Celebrating NYC Tech, Primary-style

It’s not every day that we get to very publicly proclaim our love of NYC Tech to a roomful of eager listeners (though we do it on a small scale ALL THE TIME). To shout from the rooftops how very proud we are to be a part of this tight-knit community of inspired disruptors, thoughtful innovators and truly brilliant minds. To tell the world that this hotbed of talent is very tangibly shaping the world as we know it, and that they should be paying more and more attention to our city. We’re not the only ones taking note.

When we conceived of the NYC Summit last year, we did so because our entrepreneurial community, which has gone through an exhilarating and inspiring change over the past decade, was lacking the type of event that really showcased its work and progress. And so we took it upon ourselves to create that tentpole event: one that gathered the very best investors in the country around New York’s most impressive entrepreneurs.

For our inaugural Summit, we did just that in a highly curated manner. It was a raging success, proving that there was both a desire and a need for such a platform, and we were left with no choice but to make the event bigger and better for this and subsequent years. With just a few days left to go and registrants still knocking on our door, we’re now looking at over 350 VCs and 300 of the finest entrepreneurs New York has to offer.

We’re having trouble containing our excitement for next week’s Summit, on October 3-4, which will feature panel discussions led by VCs, presentations from NYC’s most exciting startups, and unparalleled networking opportunities amongst the greatest group we could ever dream of assembling. Feel free to peruse this year’s agenda. We’ve got a full house, but please email gina@primary.vc if you’d like to be added to the waitlist.

Thank you for your support in helping us making the NYC Summit a reality, and please tune in next week for our coverage of the event!
