Tabs’ Series A to Transform Accounts Receivable and Revenue

Tabs’ Series A to Transform Accounts Receivable and RevenueTabs’ Series A to Transform Accounts Receivable and Revenue

With revenue, businesses always want more. With spend, less. This simple fact animates Tabs founder Ali Hussain’s mission to bring AI to the office of the CFO in order to drive growth.

Each year, trillions of dollars flow through accounts receivable (AR) systems, yet for decades, this vital financial stream has been dominated by archaic modules in General Ledgers such as QuickBooks and NetSuite. Remarkably, despite the sheer volume of funds involved, there hasn’t been a single unicorn in the past decade focused on optimizing AR. That’s what Tabs is here to change.

On the other side, we’ve seen dozens of unicorns emerge in the accounts payable (AP) space, despite handling a far smaller share of overall business flows. This stark imbalance underscores the massive opportunity Tabs is addressing, and it’s precisely why we are so on board Ali Hussain’s (CEO) vision of the future of Revenue.

We’re excited to announce Tabs’ $25 million Series A, a pivotal moment in the company’s mission to transform the overlooked AR and Revenue space for Finance by building an AI-powered platform designed to automate the process of revenue-focused workflows, including administering customer contracts, billing, revenue recognition, renewals, and auditing.

Since its founding, Tabs has demonstrated exceptional growth, building critical partnerships and relentlessly focusing on delivering real value to its customers. We’ve seen firsthand the team's commitment to customer-centric innovation, and the results are undeniable. The company has quickly established product-market fit, surpassing seven figures in ARR in under six months, and is set to onboard more than 100 customers within its first year. As customers ourselves, we’ve experienced how Tabs is tackling the complexities of managing unstructured accounts receivable data and leveraging the power of LLMs to provide finance teams with a unified, integrated platform for essential financial operations.

We’re grateful to Ali and the entire Tabs team for their dedication and hard work in bringing this vision to life. We’re confident in the company’s ability to lead this transformation and are proud to support them as they redefine how businesses approach accounts receivable and finance operations more broadly.

This is just the start, and we’re eager to see what the future holds for Tabs.

We’re also excited to be collaborating with such an excellent group of investors, including General Catalyst, Lightspeed, and others around the table.
