Navigating the United States healthcare system is a never ending maze. For seniors, the maze is often the largest and the most complex with different specialists, multiple medications, and a vast array of non-medical issues. But, with EZ Health, seniors finally get the care and the guidance they deserve.
We are excited to announce our pre-seed and seed investment in EZ Health as the company announces over $26M in financing from Primary, Construct Capital, and Conversion Capital. Co-founded by Artem Petakov, the former co-founder of Noom, EZ Health is building the definitive navigation platform for seniors. Artem, alongside his cofounders Nikhil, and Allison, are creating one of the most important consumer healthcare companies in the country.
Today, there are 70 million seniors on Medicare and 40% more Americans will enter their 80s over the next decade. Helping each of them manage their care is an enormous amount of work that often falls on an adult child, a spouse, or nobody at all.
EZ Health’s combination of AI, technology, and human guides remove the friction of navigating the healthcare system, ensuring seniors are better equipped to live healthy and happy lives.
Independent navigation for seniors
There are many different care navigation products in the market today, but many are intertwined inside of a payer, health system, or pharmacy benefit manager. Although these systems mean well, they often lack the holistic context needed to truly support someone in their journey.
EZ Health sits on top of these existing systems, with a laser focus on helping members with everything they need. EZ Health’s purview is wide and stretches into many of the ancillary social determinants of health that affect people’s health. To list just a few examples, the company can help people find the right medical specialist, set up meal delivery, arrange transportation, and in one case, even find a carpenter to help with a home modification.
Core to EZ Health’s mission is keeping the senior at the center of every interaction and delivering the most delightful consumer experience. Although this sounds obvious, it is not the reality with most care navigation products in the market.
The technology behind the guide
EZ Health meets the members where they are and most seniors talk to their guide on their regular phone line, with no app to download and no portal to log into. Over time, that guide becomes the one person with the full picture of their current healthcare status.
EZ Health has built proprietary AI tooling at every layer of their product, enabling guides to maintain an incredibly high quality and proactively ensure that members are getting the help that they need. Every interaction, learning and outcome compounds, helping the next senior get even better care.

We have known Artem since his years at Noom, where he scaled the business to hundreds of millions in revenue. His passion for helping people navigate the healthcare system is palpable, and when he first described his vision for EZ Health, we were hooked.
Joined by co-founders who helped scale Noom and managed teams of hundreds of people, we are deeply confident that this team knows how to build a massive and hugely impactful business. Most importantly, they understand how to build trust and keep the consumer at the center of every interaction.
